CD ReviewsSimply Great Music Keith Preston Miller | Ithaca, NY USA | 05/09/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Even if my uncle Steve (Artie Lenin) wasn't featured prominently on this album I'd still love it. Gary has a great voice. Very simliar to Elvis Costello and the song selection here is perfect for a day of kicking back and getting a little introspective. While uptempo stuff like We Connect, Dancin' At The U.N. and You Only Get One Life (which features the reunited Flashcubes) are a lot of fun, Gary really shines on the slower more emotional stuff like Private Catastrophe and Troubled Mind (originally recorded by Catie Curtis). If you're into Jeffery Gaines, Elvis Costello or Billy Bragg, then you should definitely check this album out."
