CD ReviewsA great artist Eric Alan Holt | Portland, Oregon | 12/06/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "The Reverend Gary Davis was a genuine product of a world that is gone with the wind, for good and ill. He was a blind bluesman who got saved, became a "Reverend", and produced some tremendous gospel/blues, some of which was recorded after he was "discovered" singing on New York City street corners. Thirty years ago, I had the radio on in Seattle, and 'O Glory' was played. The song stopped me in my tracks, as few ever do, and I have never forgotten that moment, or this remarkable man."
