"gsoul is not just the name of an up and coming band. it is also the term used for describing what this planet is. a huge soul. a gargantua soul. this, of course, is an opinion. but im willing to bet my life it is true and i value my life. the cd; "the first, the last, the tribe" is a variation on musical genres with a hardcore spine and a butterfly spin. the cd itself is enhanced with cd rom capabilities that enable the listener with a cd rom drive to watch a video of the 2nd track on the album; "drive". aside from being a fine album with mystique and cut above mainstream originality, it is also a welcomed image conscious effort as far as the shows are concerned. and when you hear the cd it should not be long before one seeks out a local show from these guys. by the way, the word "image" does not reflect any belief that one should be obsessed with image. "image" comes from "imagine", and the image of a live show "imagined" through the listening of the cd, will prompt a conscious image of a good band with a great sound!"

"You've made the choice to come here and read reviews about this cd. That is a good start. Chances are, you like this kind of music and you are curious about the GSoul. Maybe not. Who knows? I don't know? But you know? GSoul is some good stuff, people. It IS worth the price of admission. That's basically what this is right here. Price for admission. Truthfully and honestly I will say this about the CD. It is a good price to pay. The style of these artists are not easily categorized. Crunch colored guitar clothing cries of love and humanness underneath the hang dry line of bouncing wind thumping sheets in hopeful backyard simplistic bungee jumping. That is what I just got out of the music a few hours ago. I mean, it just changes day to day. There is a lot to be heard on this cd. But the shows.. Let me save that for another time. Once you hear the cd you should be keeping your ear out for a local GSOUL appearance near you. Incredible vibe at the shows. If i had to say a hardcore Grateful dead......I wouldn't. But you might. Who knows? I don't know? The cd is a win."
