A 70 city tour in 1980, the Galaxy of Stars showcased the best that Solar Records had to offer. Powerhouse live performances by the Whispers, Shalamar, Lakeside and Dynasty prove that these groups not only looked great and made hit records, but also set the stage on fire. Highlights include Shalamar's jubilant renditions of "Right in the Socket" and "The Second Time Around," the Whispers "Lady" (which features great crowd response), Lakeside's "Give in to Love" and Dynasty's "I've Just Begun to Love You." A nicely packaged reissue complete with original cover art and liner notes, this album is an enjoyable listening experience and an ideal replacement for those who missed out the first time around."
