Synopsis

Album Description
After coming onto the scene with the hit singles "She's My Lover" and "Truths & Rights" Blaze delivers a debut album that is both lyrically and musically impressive. Produced by Kenroy "YahBreeze" Archibald and featuring appearances from Luciano, Richie Stephens, and his fellow newcomers on the Eight76 label, Truths & Rights showcases the writing and performing skills of BLaze and Breeze. The title song entered the South Florida reggae singles chart within two weeks of release. Especially noteworthy are Lion Paw, Keep It Burning, Curfew, and Empress Amazing

CD Reviews

Blazing!!!
Sista Melody | Planet Earth (for now) | 02/09/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I heard truths and rights on the radio, and I figured this was pretty much a dancehall album, but it's much more than that. Empress Amazing is HOT and there are a lot of traditional reggae tracks too like firm inna dis and nuh love love. The dancehall cuts are full of great lyrics too, not just the unsual guntalk and misogeny- Definitely worth the money!"
TRUTHS & RIGHTS IS REAL!

"I was in south beach the night this bredren performed at the Marlin hotel and he is definitely about to BLAZE! Unlike most deejays with the same rhythms over and over this is music is a mix of dancehall and reggae. I ain't heard nothin like this youth in a long time. Conscious music, love songs, my favorties are Empress Amazing, Lion Paw, Firm Inna Dis. I got my signed copy at the show- but I got one for my cousin online."
