"it has a bunch of great songs on it..but it gets old by the end of the cd..i mean..if you were to listen to one of these songs separately youd be like."wow..this is pretty good" but after hearin it over and over again it gets old...get it if you want..it wont necassarily disappoint you....its a good cd...just needs more variation"
The band at about the middle of their existance.

"I guess this is not my favorite FUNERAL ORATION album. None of them are bad. They've got their own sound and have progressed, steadily, from their first 2 demos (the blue tape and the pink tape) which are them at their most intense and punk sounding to each record they did after that, slowly becoming more accessable sounding. Somehow, they never sound like a sell out band and just, instead, like maybe they mature over the years. Saw them in 1997, two times in the same night. They said with the second show that night, which was arranged almost on the spur of the moment, that they'd done 25 shows in 25 days in the States. That's pretty impressive given that the band has been around since sometime around the early 80's (late 70's?). That is, they had a little age on 'em (like me and all us old punx. But they still cranked out a great show.

Some of their albums have like a real solid hit that should have been a radio hit if the world was right. This one doesn't as I recall, though I like the title of 'Still in a Punk Band'. Real nice guys too (like most punx). chrisbct@hotmail.com"
