Great music, but the recording went awry....

"As usual, Frankie's music is great. But there is absolutely no stereo effect on this CD; it is pure monophonic. Some instruments disappear almost completely; it sounds as though only one channel of the original two-channel master made its way onto the final mix. One selection, The Accordion Man Waltz, also appears on Greatest Polkas and Waltzes Volume Two (on the Quicksilver label) in full stereo. Yes, the performance and recording are clearly the same, but the Laserlight version is not stereo. Something went wrong here."
