Comprised of a lead singer/guitarist, electric guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, and occasional keyboard, Frank Viele & The Manhattan Project is led by guitarist and singer-songwriter Frank Viele who hand-picked the other five members himself. The band s charisma has drawn comparisons to Maroon 5, O.A.R. and the Dave Matthews Band as well as classic artists such as Chicago and Tower of Power. In recent months they ve shared the stage with Gavin DeGraw, Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, Keller Williams, the Rustic Overtones, Ingrid Michaelson, Nine Days and Marc Broussard, just to name a few. The band s first full-length release, Neon Lights, showcases the band s breadth of talent. Spanning funk, rock, pop and a bit of blues and swing, the 9 tracks feature the band s signature combo of driving horns, funky bass lines, syncopated rhythms, Viele s gruff vocals, and impressive sax and guitar solos that are the icing on the cake.
