CD ReviewsDream Town- WOW! Rachel V. | California, USA | 07/04/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Just when I had given up on new music, I heard about this guy Frank Barter. What I love about this album is that it is so multi-dimensional, and inspiring. It ranges from southern rock influences like in the title track, to Americana sounding stuff like Wheatfields and Horizon's Light. Plus there's an "enlightened" grunge influence on Blue Cloud Night which I like because it is both edgy and melodic at the same time (aka U2), as well as a California "sound" on several tracks. I like or love 11 out of 12 songs, and how often can you say that about an album these days?Dream Town is like a a good road trip. One where the windows are rolled down, and there's a perfect breeze blowing in, and you get out and really meet the people and the country that you'd kind of forgotten was yours.This is an album worth bringing home. Check it out."
