CD Reviews

The greatest falsetto with great background harmonies.

"I bought this double cd set last year and boy was it nice to hear the music-(crisp and clear) again for the first time, only 30 some years later. Back in 65 and 66 I bought these albums when they were first released and played them until the clairity went out the window. Its nice to remember that no matter how many times that I play these cd's, they will sound the same every time. ACE-(UK) records did an excellent job of recording the music onto the cd's. The versions of Bye Bye Baby, Baby Goodbye, Big Man in Town, Toy Solider, and others hit releases sounded best on these cd's, verses the recording of the Four Seasons 25th Aniversary 3CD set on Rhino records. Also on these two particular albums, originally three of the same songs were on the both of them. ACE records went and put Girl Come Running, Let's Hang On, and A Sunday Kind of Love on this set, but on the original albums they weren't on them,so every song here is different. I WOULD BYE THIS CD SET, THE CRISPNESS AND THE CLAIRITY OF THE RECORDING IS IMPECABLE. YOU WILL ENJOY ALL OF THE SONGS."
True love takes a lot of tryin'.

"This CD combines two 4 Seasons albums from 1965/66. Originally, "Working My Way" included three recordings that had already appeared on "Entertain You", but of course those songs are only featured once each here. But there are three bonus tracks included, so there are still the same number of songs. Both of these albums were strong efforts by the 4 Seasons. Of course, there are some classic hits here, but most of the album tracks are good, too. Fans of the group should enjoy this CD. Here is the track listing:

1. Show Girl

2. Where is Love?

3. One Clown Cried

4. My Prayer

5. Little Darlin'

6. Bye, Bye, Baby

7. Betrayed

8. Somewhere

9. Living Just For You

10. Little Angel

11. Big Man in Town

12. A Sunday Kind of Love
