Synopsis

Album Description
The Amsterdam Bridge Ensemble is named after the English composer Frank Bridge (1879-1941), who in his evolution as a composer bridged the border between romanticism and modernism. Bridge's Phantasy for piano quartet was the very first piece performed by the group. Founded in 2005, the ensemble appears as a piano quartet, as a piano trio, and as a string trio. Additionally, it invites musical friends to share its passion for chamber music on stage. The German press has praised the ensemble for the "virtuosity of its passions."
