CD Reviews

Generator may be the weakest track- class

"This is a limited 5-track EP by the group, featuring a well-chosen mixture of tracks. Generator itself may tbe the weakest song on TINNTL- it isn't bad, but only the guitar line has any power and it seems over-reliant on the vocoder effect. The acoustic tracks are lovely, and definately sound a lot like REM and Radiohead respectively. Personally I prefer Floaty, but its a tough call. Fraternity was left off the album, I'd say not a wise move as its a catchy and powerful song, not exactly their heaviest track but neat (that comes from someone who loves both ends of their output - my two favourites Foos songs are Monkey Wrench and Walking After You). The live version of Breakout is good as well, the way the crowd sing along emphhasising the track's popularity. This is a great EP, and a must for fans."

"All of the songs are solid, but they're all on the album. Yeah, they are live versions, but what's the big difference. They aren't even as good as the studio recording. If you're going to put out a single, it should usually have some new songs on it. Uggg....what a waste of money. The ECD isn't something worth paying for either. Do yourself a favor and just stick with the album. If you want some cool b-sides, then go for the "My Hero" single."
This is fooking awesome!

"Great CD single. Hard to find in stores, buy it here because chances are if you do find it in a store, it will be more expensive than here. Bonus tracks Fraternity and the live version of breakout are wonderful. The foo just keeps on gettin' better, I'm telling you man."
