Synopsis

Product Description
FIVE MINUTE RIDE, from Sacramento, CA, have been through a lot this past year since their their dear friend and guitar player passed away from a rare stomach virus but the band has endured. The passing of Alex Poole, was traumatic and left the band in a state of shock. Out of this emerged a new band with a dark message and a new meaning to what they call ?life.? The song ?Oh These Woeful Days? was the first song written since the death. It?s a gut wrenching tribute to their fallen friend. The World Needs Convincing Of All That It?s Missing is their message to the world. This amazing CDEP was produced by the legendary KURT BALLOU (CONVERGE, CAVE IN, GIVE UP THE GHOST). Listen to their message and feel their pain.

CD Reviews

Five Minute Ride is sick!
Emory Ensign | Sacramento, Ca | 02/18/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I first fell in love with FMR because of thier lead guitarist. He was awsome but unfortunately he recently passed away. Their new line up sounds just as good though. I love the lyrics and the singer sounds really emotional. The drummer has deffinitely been influenced by the drumming of Cunningham from the deftones. A huge amount of talent in this band. Even though this is such a young band, they sit amoung my favorite of all time."
Amazing!

"This band can only be described with one word: Amazing.

This CD has been my favorite ever since it first came out.

Five Minute Ride puts so much emotion and strength into their songs.

All of their songs are great, and this album is worth 5 stars, and it is deffinately worth buying!"
