CD Reviews

How do you say "outstanding" in French?

(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is truly a great cd! I got to be honest that I have come discover this genre of music a just few years ago after jumping on the Buddha-bar wagon. In my opinion, this cd is equally at home in the Eighteenth Street Lounge in DC, Buddha Bar and Hotel Costes in Paris. This product is unique, sophisticated, and enchanting. Just the other nite, my husband and I took the Visage cd to a trendy Miami restaurant that we regularly frequent. We asked the waiters if they could play it-and they did. The response/feedback on the part of everyone was tremendous! The restaurant ended up playing it twice. We ended up giving the Visage CD to the restaurant-it didn't matter because we had already purchased two. Felix Cutillo-can't wait for Visage II!"

"San Francisico Examiner Publication date: 01/30/2003 BY BILL PICTURE
Europapop serves up a seamless, sultry mix of sassy Franco-house, hip-shaking Latin jazz and deeper downtown grooves for dance music connoisseurs with more sophisticated audio palates. If you've got the itch for sweaty, underground main-room thump, then keep looking. But if you're hungry for something a more well-balanced, a little more cosmopolitan and, dare we say it, mature, then this is the joint. Features tracks by Yonderboi, Greboy feat. Elgin Park, Llorca, Mo' Horizons and Kevin Yost."
