CD Reviews

Witty and Fun....One of the Best I've Heard

"I think Feable Weiner does themself a misfortune by comparing themselves to Weezer, the Pietasters, and some other unknown band on their cd cover. Their sound has a touch of these bands, but it would better market them to compare them to punk or so called pop punk bands such the All American Rejects (formerly on this record label) and to me, definitely Relient K. I usually dont like attempts to make music funny or silly songs, but this record combines quality music with just the right touch of sarcasm to make the songs unbelievably catchy. Their wit and harmonies are even better than Relient K's, but their style and musical production I think even betters All American Rejects. This cd is just flat out fun, you really can't help to smile. I dont normally feel that way, and I didnt even like Lame Face when I first downloaded it, but when you listen to this cd as a whole it flows perfectly. This cd isnt just for punk or pop fans either, it just seems to have that all around classic, long lasting quality. Even the cd case screams fun and originality looking like a binder with velcro to close it. It's worth the 10 bucks."
Feable Weiner: What's In A Name?

"I have said it before and I will say it again..I can tell you one thing.. 'Dear Hot Chick' is anything but feable. Words like fantastic, amazing, fun, and catchy come to mind first. I can't profess to be a die-hard, life-long FW fan but it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a long-time fan to realize just how hard this album rocks! Luckily for me, I was in the right place at the right time. I just met the guys at a show a few weeks ago. Man, have I been missing out! After watching their incredibly entertaining show, I couldn't help but buy my own advance copy of the disc. As a college radio DJ, I've heard the best of the best and the worst of the worst and have definitely developed a highly critical ear. It's safe to say that FW ranks right up there with the best. The album is filled with catchy hooks and great chops.. Not to mention wonderful harmonies and downright amusing lyrics.. I laughed out loud at lines like "..you said this song was lame, and I said so is your face! You said this song could be better and I said so could your face!" (Lameface, Trk 4) and who can resist a bit of classic rock guitar riff (San Deem Us Ready, Trk 1). And what gal won't be suckered by a song about a guy who wants more from a girl than physical things? "Hey girl it's gonna take more than handjabs to keep me here tonight.." (Handjabs, Trk 5). I love this album.. My friends love this album.. And for some reason, I bet you will, too! Pick it right now!! These guys have the perfect equation for success!"
I heart Feable Weiner

"I went to see Feable Weiner about a month ago at Swayze's and I thought they were amazing. They really got the crowd going and were hilarious. I bought the CD and its been the only CD in my player since. The lyrics definitely aren't the most sentimental or emotional so this isn't the CD to listen to when you are depressed. If you are looking for catchy, upbeat songs with humorous lyrics, though, then this is the CD for you."
