"this band sounds like a stage battle between Destruction and Kreator with Pro-Pain as the referee. this CD starts out with an intro and ends with a cover of Iron Maiden's "Killers". a hallmark of many thrash bands, new and old, is the solo, and the solos on this album are awesome. on song no. 3, entitled "Nothing To Regret", they wander into Slayer territory. it would be easy to envision Fatal Embrace covering "Seasons in the Abyss" by Slayer. on song no. 4, entitled "Haunting Metal", they sort of sound like they are playing "Battery" by Metallica. altogether, Fatal Embrace sounds like a mixture of Slayer, old Metallica, Destruction, and Kreator,
they also did a good thing by signing with Metal Blade Records."
