CD Reviews

So FL kids Up The Punx

(5 out of 5 stars)

"South Florida's Fallen From The Sky have done a lot in the 6 years they've been around. Close to 10 self-booked tours, 2 E.P.s and a 7 inch later, their first full length 'Tonight We Radiate' is finally being released via Eulogy Records. In my opinion, they are the only good (or unique) band on the label besides Set Your Goals. Similar in ethos, with a staunch DIY background, the new CD is teeming with catchy albeit screamed hooks, gang vocals, and crushing guitars. The rhythm section is kept concise and fast paced thanks to drummer jim and newcomer hazen on bass. If you're into fast, melodic, gravelly voiced bands like Hot Water Music, Strike Anywhere, but also the uplifting posi-natured tendencies of Set Your Goals and the urgency and heaviness of Comeback Kid, Tonight We Radiate will leave you satisfied."
