Synopsis

Product Description
Existance was founded in 2008 by Julian Izard (vocals & guitars) and Tom Drouin (bass), sharing a common goal of keeping the musical spirit of 80s Metal alive. If the last name Izard sounds familiar to the historians among you, Julian Izard is none other than the son of Didier Izard, who was the vocalist with French speed metal band, H-Bomb, which regardless of featuring French language lyrics, and in spite of only being active from 1983-86, left a serious footprint on the Heavy Metal scene of the 80s. Officially only releasing one EP, ""Coup De Métal"" and one album ""Attaque,"" the numerous bootleg albums available today bear testimony to their status and influence on a next generation of bands, including Izard junior's Existance. In 2010 Existance released the obligatory demo, which in turn enabled them to start gigging around France. After a minor line-up change in 2011, the band returned to the studio and produced their 2nd demo; this time eight tracks were recorded. The following year, thanks to the demos being well received by the media, Existance played a substantial number of concerts across Europe. Then a deal was struck with High Roller Records in Geermany, who re-released the 2nd Existance demo in April 2012, both on compact disc and vinyl, distributed worldwide via Soulfood. The next year was spent writing, rehearsing and fine-tuning and in September 2013 Existance re-entered the studio to record their debut full-length album entitled ""Steel Alive."" Recorded and mixed at Boss Hog Studios in France, ""Steel Alive"" was mastered by Maor Appelbaum in Los Angeles, who in the past has mastered masterpieces by (among others) Anvil, Dokken, Halford, Malmsteen, Sepultura. The result...one hell of an ***-kicking album that proves true metal is ""Steel Alive
