Synopsis

Album Description
Evil 10 Submission, a young band out of Michigan City, Indiana, are able to keep their music entertaining at a fast pace throughout the duration of their debut album, Mythological Rides on the Hillbilly Express. The fabled adventure takes off with the opening track, "Trucker Style," which perfectly exemplifies what Mythological Rides on the Hillbilly Express is all about: sharp melodies and heavy drum beats serving as a backdrop to howls about the dark side of rural living. It isn't necessarily rock from rednecks, but more along the lines of death metal from country boys who've been labeled 'disturbed' their whole life. Evil 10 Submission may be some sort of outcasts, but it doesn't affect them. On the next song "Mad Man," the lead singer gives an open invitation to anyone to "Come on in to the Hillbilly truffle shuffle." Kind and endearing, isn't it? Oddly enough, it becomes more intense. It's as if the members of the Evil 10 Submission have been chugging Red Bulls just to keep every song energetic. They talk about getting hypnotized on rock 'n roll on "Legends," spread their desire to tell revelations on "Truth Be Told" and reveals the wrath of an angry god on "Zeus' Scorn." It's nice knowing that Evil 10 Submission are capable of becoming personal, yet somewhat sinister at the same time.
