"I came across this disc recently in the used bins at a local music shop and fell in love with the CD immediately. The first time I listened to it was while riding my bike on a Sunday morning, it totally energized me, pumped me up and increased my tempo. Even the slow jams kept me going strong. The music is awesome, reminiscent at times of Sade with that slow seductive groove that keeps you begging for more. I love the whole album but certain songs are a cut above the rest like "Low Tide of the Night" that could very easily be a song you might hear on a smooth jazz station, it is pure smooth groove, "Five Fanthoms that begins with the techno-thump-thump and features some very cool vocals that evokes the dance floor days of Donna Summer, the Sadesque "Downhill Racer" that is a perfect downtempo groove and the Deep Dish groove of " The Future of the Future" that is a retro-dance-hall-jam that gets you going. A curious feature of this disc is how they manage to work in drum 'n bass grooves into many of the songs including the nearly pure instrumental(only occasional trailing voice echoes)"Compression" that is an upbeat tight song or "Blame" which has a hyper-kenetic beat. All in all this is an excellent bit of electronica that is very appealing and recommended for working out at the gym, playing for some friends before dinner or just kick'n it; it is good stuff anytime, any mood."
If It Wasn't For The Movie Hitch

"I discovered a gem of CD! I love the movie Hitch and the scene where Eva Mendes and Will Smith are in a ultra cool lounge; a song was playing in the background called "Five Fanthoms" by this group. It would always play in my head after seeing the scene... I looked for the song on the soundtrack to no avail but after doing a little research I found EverythingButTheGirl was responsible for the awesome song. This CD is pleasantly good and a great one to play for lounging or chillin' out with friends, etc! Highly recommend! Don't pass this one... CD plays from start to finish... no index finger needed!"
Their best CD i own so far... i have 4 of them.

"Well to start off.... im listening to it right now. Its what i listen to at work.. then i take it out of the player and right into my car it goes... strange thing is it never gets old.
I found this group initially because of Tracy Thorne from massive attacks "Protection." Then i realized they hosted the song Five Fathoms from this CD on the Hitch movie with Will Smith. It was the song on the second club theme in the movie. Its a good mix of low tempo to mid-high tempo beats, mellow vocals, with unique electronic sounds. Since my purchase, I started to hear their music everywhere... most recently in JCPenny's. Needless to say, i stayed in that same section until the song went off.
If youre fighting yourself on this one. fight no more! make it the music choice of the day/week/month, whatever!"
