CD Reviews

Question is "Why Don't You Know Her"?
Patrick A. Sullivan | Sherborn, MA | 10/08/2002

""Do You Know Me" is the latest effort by the enormously talented Eve Selis and her band. The cd is a wonderful blend of alternative country, rock and adult contempory music....Personally the song "Broken Things" is worth the price of the cd alone....her voice is one to be heard. But there is so much to choose from on this cd...
From the gritty opening track of "Tear This Old House Down" to the lullaby quality of "My Whisper" to the toe tapping "Passing Thru" to the redeeming quality of the title track...one can see why Eve is one of the most downloaded artists on mp3.com.So "Do You Want To Know Her"?
I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you do..."

"This album is fantastic!! The very first track, "Tear This Old Down" is a flat out rocker that showcases Eve's strong voice so very well. There are other good rock tempo songs here; "Ain't Got Nothin'", "Catch The Wind", "Passin' Thru", and "Down to Love". There are also songs here that prove how well she can sing the slower, softer ballad songs; "In My Dreams", "My Whisper", "Broken Things", and my most favorite track, "Love Came Just In Time." It is noteworthy that Eve wrote or co-wrote 9 of the tracks. This is a very good buy folks."
