CD Reviews

Excellent

"After practically wearing out the first disk this band put out, (Jitters) I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy of the new one. It's a terrific second effort. The musicality is still the punk/ska/grunge blend that I loved about the first albumn, with tight guitar riffs and excellent grooves...but the songs have evolved. The lyrics are incredible. Check out Rufi Girl and Surrender File! the band has so much more to say this time around that I can't wait for album number 3."

"I visited a friend who just bought a small handful of CDs. Almost by accident I put on this Ethyline album. I wasn't paying much attention at first, but I swear they started moving the furniture. They certainly helped get that apartment painted. Only after they helped wash my car the following day did I realize that Ethyline is the best thing to come out of Chicago since deep dish pizza. I think that I wore a groove in that disc somewhere around "Gypsy Twist." Wonderful energy from start to finish. A warning though, watch 'em. When you're not looking they'll raid your refrigerator. The great thing is that they will bring a beer back for you too."
Buy two of this CD. One for the car, one for the home!

"Wow, what a blast! This cd provides energy from start to finish with a couple moments to catch your breath. The style of Rock with a bit of punk is a sound that's all its own. Its great to be able to listen to a band that isn't just masking someone else's work. Even their cover of Bust a move reaks originallity! The sound is clean, the guitars are crisp, the the band is tight. Seeing them live ia a two-fold bonus. They play like your listening to a CD and the performance is memorable. Bad things, Gypsy twist and Octopus are my personal favorites, but the whole cd is great! This cd is fun on the run! I can't say enough about it. Why is their record label keeping them a secret?"
