Synopsis

Product Description
The entire album deals with nightmares, Chris (Gregory, guitar) and I were working on a song and the first line the came to my mind was Blessed Be This Nightmare and ideas kept coming from there. Vocalist Ed Butcher speaks on lyrical theme of Eternal Lord s debut full-length Blessed Be This Nightmare to be released on Ferret Music on March 18th, 2008.
Hailing from Swindon, U.K. a sleepy town not known for it s heavy music pedigree, the band hammer forth with metal riffs and bestial vocals so thick that if it were waves would equate to the Perfect Storm. Butcher, fresh from his role as front-man for Australian metal-core outfit I Killed The Prom Queen originally played with Eternal Lord members Gregory and Sean Zerabeki (guitar) in the band Hunt For Ida Wave before joining Prom Queen. In early 2007, I was planning on leaving I Killed The Prom Queen says Butcher Chris told me that we should get together and write and see if it went anywhere and shortly thereafter I came on board with Eternal Lord.
Rounded out by Nick Gardner (bass) and Stu McKaye (drums) the band has played countless shows through the UK in the last year, drawing fans from long-haired metal head-bangers to hardcore mosh crews. Among their highlights was a recent country wide tour supporting All That Remains and Misery Signals. Rock Sound Magazine featured the band in their One To Watch 2008 and US Magazines will be proclaiming the same soon!
