"The only performer whom I've heard play Grieg's Piano Concerto to my satisfaction. Yes, there is the odd mistake in some of the pieces on this collection, but Entremont's passion & confidence more than make up for them.

I think, like Mario Lanza, his popular image may've made him unfashionable with some in the elite of the classical music world, but I've found (after 53yrs on this planet) that often (tho' not always) the best things are the most popular.

In fact these Sony - Essential Classics seem to have many of my favourite classical performers.

Great mix of various Romantic composers by a powerful & sensitive pianist."
