"I'm almost embarrased to give this 2 disc set a 4 star rating, not because of the content of the music but because of the recording quality on it. First of all, not all the songs are by Paco de Lucia on the disc. As a matter of fact, most people will instantly recognize the brilliant classical touch of Andres Segovia on "Danza Espanola No 5 and "Danza Espanola No 10". However my gripe with some of these recordings is the poor quality of transfer from the Vinyl medium. For example, you can hear a nasty stratch on one of the songs and on few others, the hiss of the vinyl almost overpowers the gentle strumming of Segovia and Sabicas. Overall though, this 2 CD set is a great way to introduce yourself to the grandfathers of traditional flamenco guitar, and once you listen to this set, you will quickly come to love this very passionate Spanish artform!"
