CD Reviews

A minimalist masterpiece

"By now everyone is probably sick of all the praise being lavished on Moby (regarding PLAY). It wasn't too long ago when Moby was pretty unpopular. At the height of his unpopularity (after he released his infamous speed metal album ANIMAL RIGHTS) he dropped this gorgeous piece of sonic wallpaper. It can be the perfect background music while you do work or read, etc; Or--perhaps most ideally--you can kick back and experience this disc on headphones. It's powerful stuff (Unassumingly so). Tracks like "Dog Heaven," "Slow Motion Suicide" and "Reject" are pieces of ambient bliss. A must."
Hell, I was just going to say that this album is good....

"However once I read that review from the guy in Long Island, I went back and listened to it again. An absolute Masterpiece is what I heard. You cannot touch perfect quality such as this. I've had this CD for well over a year now, but everytime I play Patient Love, I listen to its entirety, all 9 minutes of it. Listen to it falling asleep, listen to it on long car trips, listen to it on a relaxing rainy day. You will be overwhelmed by the feelings you'll get. This Album will go down as one of those most influential album or best album or whatever of the century. Get it. and read the article from the guy in Long Island. That will give you something to think about while listening to it."
If you like electronic music you must have it.
