CD Reviews

Gota Love it
M. Matosich | 03/13/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am not sure what this last review was getting at. With listening to this album i have found both male and female vocals, there is more than just her acoustic guitar. Great production and instrumentation portrayed. I cannot put this album down. Her lyrics are so deeply placed, i literally get a sense of her life through listening to it. I am very pleased and honestly don't think that

you would be let down with buying this album. It really is such an honor to own this. And experience her life through her music."
How Real

""Better Luck Next Time," I'm really not sure if it is luck or just an incredible show of talent. This album is the purest form of expression that I've possibly ever been exposed to. Emme PAcker's latest release is a real heart stopping personal story. Are all her songs really written about herself, or some stories she's just felt necessary to make sense of this truly "confusing" world? I'm not sure, I don't personally know Emme, but I'm sure everyone will wish they did after listening to "Better Luck Next Time." She has something for anyone who has a heart. "So put your socks on" for a presentation of Emme's soul.

Emme is a character, no... such a wonderful person, whom is so easily related too because she is nothing less than two hundred and thirty percent honesty. With an aura that welcomes anybody, she fixates time, incapacitating, and it is an unbelievable quality that just gives me the utmost respect for her. We are offered photos and frames within notes and words. This is paralleled with her albums artwork; they have this photograph scrapbook appeal. It is as if we have come across someone's diary, and we are let right in.

I will not go into detail on what the songs sound like, and which ones are my favorites. I don't write reviews, however if you fell into the music and were truly astonished as much as I am you would realize it is the littlest one could do. To just let her know how much you appreciate her work. Just try to think about what you are missing from the songs you have not heard."
