"Next to the Woob 1194 album, this is probably the next best release I have heard on the excellent Emit label.
Every track on here is outstanding, more so when listened to on headphones, particularly slim, gas and international peoples gang. All at once lush, spacious, and ominous, yet not without emotional resonance, this compilation was ahead of its time when released, and it still is today, and like most Emit releases, I feel like I have entered another Universe each time I listen.Too bad quality ambient-dub like this is so hard to come by these days, although I
think the majority of the listening public would not have the patience to sit throught this album, nor would they understand it, which makes it even more precious. I have seen that the Emit label has started up again, so hopefully we will see more outstanding releases like this. If you can get a of a copy of this, hold onto for dear life. By the way, if anyone knows where I can get a hold of the second Woob release, I would most indebted to you. Thanx."
