"Photorecording can be considered elliott's B-Sides, though its not a completely accurate description of the content. Tracks 1-7 were recording in studio immediately after their last show; Tracks 8-14 were recorded in studio at one point or another and are the songs that never made in on an album. Track 9 is a dance remix of the classic song that graced False Cathedrals with its driving rhythms and tight syncopation. Chris Higdon's voice on this album is completely pure, rising to heights of beauty that even Song in the Air didn't capture. Track two, the studio version of Drive Onto Me, contains a truly amazing guitar solo that is worth the price of the entire CD just to hear. So that's the music - the DVD portion is really incredible as well. Those who saw elliott perform live always testify that elliott's live show is second to none; and its true - Photorecording captures Chris' passionate self-expression. Basically, this CD is one of the best ever made. If you like elliott, this CD is like water to a dry soul. If you have never bought an elliott CD before, this a great CD to begin your journey through their captivating, haunting, beautiful world."
