Regarding Nightwish/Within Temptation/Leaves' Eyes compariso
J. borden | DE | 08/20/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Spectacular band, terrible what happened to Sabine. I know they arn't orchestrated as Nightwish, but I believe they can make a good compare. And it is true that Sabine was influenced greatly on Theatre of Tragedy/Leaves' Eyes's Liv Kristine. I believe Elis/Erben der Schöpfung grasps the best elements of both. Whomever the girl is who commented below me really has no room to speak, considering she is only basing her oppinions off of her own personal tastes in music.

And to clarify, most people think Elis is from Germany. There is a difference between Leichtenstein and Germany..

And comparing Evanescence and Elis is basically comparing Pop-rock with Gothic Metal.. the quality of music is just that much better.

By the way, I am a huge Nightwish fan, and also love Elis. Speak for yourself."

"well iam giving this album 5 stars for reason is they do not sound like nightwish maybe a little but not enough to make me think they are nightwish clones. in my opinion this a great album could have been a little bit better but i think this band hasn't found there true roots yet but when they do there going to break big so i recommend this album to any nightwish fan or leaves eyes fan now they don't sound like leaves eyes but if your into that kind of metal then you'll like this band"
