CD ReviewsA really, really good techno-ish trance album eqtweak | San Francisco | 10/24/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Hamburg, Germany-based Boris Blenn, aka Electric Universe, is an extremely talented electronic music composer and producer. Under the name Electric Universe, he has released a string of great singles and albums for Germany's Spirit Zone label. This is my favorite album to date, though I have yet to hear Divine Design (Hi Fly, one of the singles that will appear on Divine Design, is awesome). If you like psychedelic trance, but with nice techno-style rhythmic sounds, good build-ups, and synth arrangements that point to progressive trance (without all the new wave rehashing of cybertrance), this is your album. It may sound a bit dated in places, having been released in '98, but it is solid and when I spin trance sets using CDs I almost always throw in a track or two off this album. Most songs are around 143-145 bpm."
