"Since the front cover of this independently produced CD was just a single panel with no info of the Massachusetts three piece I was able to locate some information about Electric Tiger on the internet. Could only describe them as 'psychedelic weirdness'. Tunes here that had me taking some notice were the strange opener "Bamboo Forest", the nicely done psych-like waling "Pagoda Prowler", the almost too much "Zapping A Villager", "Iridescent Ideogram" (nice sitar) and the ten-minute awesomely tripping "Ming Vase Illusion". Personnel: Woden Thoth-bass, electric mandolin & backwards guitar, Red Eyed Coyote-theremin & electric guitar and Pinki Li-percussion & keyboards. I once emailed Woden Thoth and inquired of the trio's musical influences and he told me at first it was Black Sabbath, Frank Zaapa and Hendrix but in later times it was more like Faust, Tangerine Dream, Gong and Amon Duul II. Look around online and you will find two-minute sound clips of this and at least one other Electric Tiger CD."
