Synopsis

Product Description
Eight Frozen Modules latest opus "Crumbling and Responding" is nothing short of fearfully astounding. He paints a picture of sound on a canavas that is too large for the listener to comprehend with a single glimpse. Combining dark and light in a way that intimidates yet moves the listener to a greater understanding of 8FM's sonic destructiveness. Hightlighting the album with the intense scorching dancehallish mania of " drills for devil dub" and the clever electro madness of "your novelistic career", or the deep spacious ambient sounds of "if you only knew" , 8FM elaborates on some of the darker, menacing tracks of "Abduction of Barry."

CD Reviews

Disregard the entry by Amalia.

(4 out of 5 stars)

"First off, the only understanding of electronic music that Amalia has is of techno/trance. The album is not that bad. It has it's ambient moments, it's glitchy/spazzy moments and it has it's dance like moments. If you heard the track that Amalia recommends as the best off the album (the drills for devil dub), you would agree she has no idea what she's talking about. That track is okay, but there are much better tracks off the album (#2+7 are my favorites) but you have to listen to more than just the first 30 seconds before you make a decision. This album is definitely modern IDM/glitch/experimental, so if you like crappy repetitive music (like amalia)...don't waste your time with this album. There's nothing more that I hate than some raver coming along claiming they know everything there is about electronic music (even though they couldn't tell you the difference between a delay and a reverb) and totally bash an album they don't understand.

Overall I would give this album 3.5 stars."
