"Well, he was good with Danzig, but he is AMAZING on his own! Eerie Von (ex-Danzig/Samhain Bassist/Misfits Roadie/Photographer) give us something genuinely creepy with "The Blood and the Body." Buy this CD!"
Much better than Danzig!

"Harken back to the days of Samhain, my friends. This CD has so much passion and raw intensity! Not to mention Eerie's voice is wonderful! Of course we didn't get to hear much when he was with Danzig. A shame. He has a deep, smooth voice just made for belting out dark cantatas. Amazingly, there is no computer work on this album. It is 100% natural talent. If you miss the days before Danzig got commerical, buy this album!"

"This album is far darker & more evil than the 5 foot hip shaker with Elvis chops could ever conjure. Eerie Von has a hauntingly handsome voice reminiscent of Jim Morrison on steroids...sorry Glen, he got you on that one as well. Cool, simple and catchy bass riffs dominate while the treble of the guitar & the distant drum machine acompany Eeries lyrics. Play this one loud enough & the tombstones will rattle and the dead will bang their heads!"
Eerie Von is awesome

"I actually like this cd.. i have his first cd that he did with Mike Morance, "Uneasy Listening" and this "Blood and The Body" is much better.. and you cannot compare Eerie Von's solo stuff to Danzig, cause let's see.. Eerie is not Danzig.. I'd say give this cd a shot.. i still need to buy it.. but Danzig is still my favorite, if you like Danzig and happen to like this Eerie Von cd.. you should check out John Christ's solo "Flesh Caffeine," it's also very good.."
