I buy a lot of jazz CDs and this one ranks as one of the best of the year. In addition to the impeccable playing of Mr. Gomez and the re-appearance of Jeremy Steig (haven't heard from him in ages) on two tracks, I think the real star of this disc is pianist Stefan Karlsson. I hope we hear a lot more from Mr. Karlsson in the near future."
