"This CD is not really bad. Dating from 1989 it appears to be still influenced by the new wave sounds, especially the more pop oriented ones, of that decade. The band sounds like an American edition of Til Tuesday, although they lack their melodic creativity. Further, the female singer's voice cannot really compete with TT's Aimee Mann.



The most important point I want to make is that the track listing is wrong. It is the track listing of the self titled third album of the British band 'East of Eden' that became produced the albums Mercator Projected (1969) and Snafu (1970) and are known to a wider audience for their hit single Jig-A-Jig.



I received this CD for free, because it had been misrepresented as the other album just described and a refund was issued because of the error. So far the error has only partly been corrected: Different ASIN and correct cover picture, but the track listing is still wrong.



I would really not have liked to pay much more for it and being able to choose between enough good CDs in my collection chances are very low that it will see the interior of my CD player again, unless for a demonstration of this funny catalogue feature."
