Altru Music presents East Coast standards time. This is a recording of playing and creating Jazz on the spot! This is a coming together of individuals in a lifetime pursuit of their craft. Sharing their own thoughts through the music, for you to enjoy and to pass on. Jazz master, Ira Sullivan, plays tenor sax and alto flute. The Rich Walker Sextet is featured throughout this album. Two bonus tracks are included from their upcoming album, Bar Hop,featuring pianist Donald Brown. The music has a wide scope of moods, sounds, grooves,and wonderful solos intertwining within each of the cast. They interpret music that was made famous by Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Jimmy Smith,Kern/Hammerstien and others.
