"I am pretty sure had Blue Djinn received more air time in the late summer of 1996 Dori Hartley would be a household name now. Eleven years later I still play my original CD for myself and a circle of close friends. I have taken good care of the CD and just now have ordered new copies. Anyway I find the music to be quite up-beat and the lyrics thought provoking. Together they work to hypnotize the listener into a daydream-like state where dreams both come true and they don't. SWAMP THING does it for me. It portrays the world of shallow relationships with a clarity of perception that makes me wonder why we were/are blind to the truth as it is happening in the first palce. I do recommend that anyone who has this CD share it with their freinds. And anyone who has not heard Blue Djinn by Dori Hartley do so now!"

"Beautiful, introspective songs. A shame it wasn't heard more widely. Gorgeous voice ... especially on my favourite "Wild Blue Heart". Take a chance and pick it up if you can ... it just keeps growing on you."
