Some artists like Andy Williams loved Dorival Caymmi for his traditional Brazilian sambas. Some like Mark Murphy and Johnny Mathis love Dori Caymmi, son of Dorival, for his modern harmonies, arrangements and particular vocals. If you search for a good reference in Brazilian Modern Song, this is a good bet. BTW, his sister Nana Caymmi sings one track in the CD. Also a master singing."

"Dori Caymmi is one of the best artists from Brazil. In this CD he is spetacular, with marvelous melodies. More than a brazilian artist, he is a world one. What are you waiting to get all his CDs (all excelent ones)? Better than him, only his great father, Dorival."
