Donna has just released her second CD Out Of The Nest. This collection of songs were written as the experiences were happening. Out Of The Nest is a collaboration of emotions dealing with the turmoil of leaving her marriage her home and her security. Its a trip from Columbus Ohio to Nashville Tennessee across the country to Santa Fe New Mexico to Southern California and back again. The project was recorded in Nashville at Humm Depot. It was produced by Rob McNelley who was instrumental in bringing in some of Nashville's hardest hitters. Steve Ebe on drums, Jay Weaver on bass both of whom perform with Tanya Tucker and Trisha Yearwood. Jerry Dale McFadden on keyboards who has played for The Mavericks and is currently on tour with Six Pence Non The Richer. Rob McNelley also supplied all the guitar work. He recently finished a two year tour with Tinsley Ellis. The performance of the music is stellar. This CD is definitely a work of art for the sake of the song. The songs are a blend of themes that many of us have experienced or will experience in time.
