There are many who feel Knightriders was Donald Rubinstein's best and most innovative film score. It starts with a sweeping, elegant theme which invokes the days of Camelot and then elevates the action on the screen. From haunting female vocals to electric guitar driven cues, this is a great score for music score fanatics. If you look carefully, Rubinstein even makes a cameo as a member of the Renaissance band featured on screen. He has gone on to compose scores for such diverse movies as Bruiser, Pollock (later rejected) and both the Tales From The Darkside movie and TV series. Rubinstein is also a highly regarded jazz and folk musician having performed with Bill Frisell and Robin Holcomb. CD is a limited edition of 3,000.

Knightriders soundtrack...surly you joust?!

"In fact, this soundtrack is awsome. "Knightriders" is one of George A. Romero's most overlooked masterpieces. This music is wonderful and I am very happy to have bought a copy of it. Get this while you can and be amazed. Also, be sure to get the soundtrack for Romero's "Martin" by Donald Rubinstein."
