"Warning : this is not rock 'n roll. It is, however, a very dreamy & mysterious album with lots of organ, acoustic guitars and hand percussion. Parts of it certainly reminded me of '60's Pink Floyd - specifically "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" - but it is more asleep than that. That sounds like a putdown, but actually, I prefer this album to a lot of other more typical '70's "Krautrock". Drugs obviously played a part in the creation of this. It's like finding an inexplicable fresco under feet of sand, or a strange cave painting that brings the past into high relief. So utterly un-21st Century and completely oblivious to trends - in other words, just the way I likes it!"

"Wow!Never thought I'd see this CD posted on this site.'Edge Of Time' was Dom's sole album.Originally released in 1970,Dom was a four-piece with members that came from Hungary,Germany and Poland. This reissue is a true lost/little known krautrock/progressive must-have for any and all true fan(s)of such.Four cuts are "Intruitus"(8:55), the awesome "Silence"(8:53),title track "Edge Of Time"(9:05)and "Dream"(9:37). Each tune requires your full attention to thoroughly enjoy this CD reissue. The Second Battle pressing of 'Edge...' has five(5)bonus tracks tagged on.Not as good as the original lp, but still vital. Line-up: Laszko Baksay- bass&vocals, Gabor Baksay-flute,percussion&vocals, Hans Georg Stopk- organ& vocals and Reiner Puzalowski- guitar&vocals. Should appeal to fans of early Floyd,Ash Ra Temple,Kluster,Amon Duul II and maybe Neu!. Highly recommended."
