Weird but good!

"This CD contains the full first two albums by the avant-garde group Dr. Nerve, which is more or less the brainchild of guitarist Nick Didkovsky, but includes a lot of other musicians. Instrumentation includes guitar, sax, drums, violin, keyboards. The music is very complex, lunging into sections of overlayed rhythms (usually odd time signatures), passages of atonality, random noise and what not. Believe it or not, the whole cacophony is skillfully composed and the music is even catchy at times. Two-on-one-CD make this a particularly good deal. Recommended to fans of the avant-garde and RIO (Rock In Oposition) and any adventurous listeners."
