CD Reviews

Excellent Upbeat Brazilian

"For fans of world music and Brazilian music in particular, this cd is a must have! From the first track -- Flor De Lis to tracks like Para-Raio and Muito Obrigado (Thank you very much)-- this cd is filled with upbeat songs that will have you singing along in Portuguese even if you don't speak the language. You will NOT regret this purchase nor will you find it in the used cd section at any store.Buy it!"
Really is a great CD.

"I agree with the reviewer from LA: This CD is great and you won't regret the purchase. I was just listening to "Flor De Lis" on Djavan's latest live CD, Ao Vivo. This is one of the most upbeat tunes I've ever heard. I have no idea what the words are, nor does it matter, because the spirit of the song comes through loud and clear in upbeat, satisfying chords. Flor De Lis contains many great tunes. If you aren't familiar with Djavan's music, this is a great introduction. You won't be disappointed."
This is a great CD to have in your collection!!!

"Although I'm not a big fan of Djavan... I really enjoyed this CD. I only bought it because of the song "E Que Deus Ajude," but after listening to the whole CD, I found it to be very enjoyable. If you have a bad day and you're pissed, this is the CD you must have to bring out the best of you.... This is actually happy music... Plus, this CD will be a great introduction to the works of Djavan."
