They are bubbly and expressive and soaring, accompanied by strong strings and horns. Von Dittersdorf was unfamiliar until recently I came across a recording of his Andantino which is just awesome, so in wanting to find more of this composer on oboe came across this. Lencses is brilliant with wonderful dynamics and sweet, clear sound. This is 75 minutes of oboe beauty. Relaxing, enchanting music. " Excellent J.
