"When Jason And the Scorchers went MIA,Warner Hodges decided to kick things up a notch when he hooked up with Nashville guitar wiz Todd Austin. Great songs from a great band that lives up to their name. "I'm Your Man","Tick Tock","Shock To The System","Wind Me Up" and "Uh Huh" are the best tunes on here to get your blood pumping,while "You Must Give Me Something" is the perfect"chick" song. The coupe-de-gracie is the closer "When Mercy Calls".

I've read great reviews for Jason's solo work and that is deserved. But so is the true heart of the Scorchers-Mr. Warner E. Hodges. He is a true rock'n'roll treasure. And what a great voice! I love this record (that's what I still call them). And I truly think you will too. It is well worth the price listed here."
