"Let's face it, we live in a musical age where every band needs to sound like someone else to be accepted. That is not the deal with Disarray! They fly in the face of the popular approach to music for the less popular way of writing, they write straight from the heart! And it kicks your butt hard! Think stoner rock, meets old school metal! Chucks vocals are raspy and rough around the edges! The guitars have a fuzzy distortion that grinds. "To This Day" is without a doubt a bust it up track. Riffage and grunts! There is a catchy chorus where the band jams out! Rugged would be the best way to describe their sound. Think lumberjacks unleashing an axe on some business man. "Open Wounds (Self Inflicted)" reminds me of old Pantera a bit. The tune is guitar driven with huge axe licks. Monster break downs at the end! Think old Megadeth colliding with Pantera. Yet again Chuck grunts like a mad man! Dirty dirty! "This World" is more of the same dirty licks hammering, while Chuck is more animated this time around. He screams with a higher pitch, and the result is a kick in the gut rock an roll song. Speed is a weapon on this track. This is just a small glimpse into the rocking world of Disarray. What I like about this band is they have bridged the gap between the whole stoner rock genre and old metal that was riff driven. The combination of the two makes for a lethal dose of good ol Rock and Roll!

"Hardcore, aggressive music at it's best. Crushing riffs, gritty vocals, and a powerful message. In the Face of The Enemy will make you want to grind your teeth, clinch your fists, and kick ass in the mosh pit! If your down and out and feel like all hope is lost, the lyrics may inspire you. Disarray are angry at "the system", disgusted by bands who relish in their 15 minutes of fame, and have no tolerace for wealth without sacrifice. Bonnet and company profess to achieve their goals in life, be dependant on integrity, stay devoted to their friends and family, and not live a life dependant on money. If your not looking for a message in your music, and just want to hear some kick-ass, raw metal, then this albums for you. I thought the acoustic track ("Life Is Gone") that finsihed the disc was great, but did not really fit in with the overall tone of the album."
