Synopsis

Product Description
Dirty Looks returns with Superdeluxe; the greasiest rock record to hit the street since the infamous Cool From The Wire and its follow-up Turn of the Screw. Superdeluxe reunites the original line-up of Henrik Ostergaard, vocals/guitar, Paul Lidel, guitar, Jack Pyers, bass, with the addition of Jeremy Hummel on drums. Superdeluxe is full of that vintage Dirty Looks sound to satisfy all the diehard fans and forge ground with a whole new generation. Henrik's vocal performance screams with raw emotion, that if possible, exceeds all of his previous performances leaving no doubt this guy is at the top of his game and possibly one of the best balls out singers there is. Enough said.

CD Reviews

Classic down n dirty greazy rockin ......

"This cd is a classic dirty looks sound with attitude and you can tell the chemistry between the 3 of the original members , plenty hooks and riffs , nicely produced and henrick pushes the envelope on the singing, really gives it his best i think since "5 easy pieces" or "chewin on the bit", this lil gem should be in any dirt looks` collection 4 sure, songs like "bring me down" & "million miles away" will bring you back to the early days of the band, has all elements of" cool from the wire" to "chewin on the bit" , it trips the trigger & `07`s "gasoline" too is along same vein...fun rock done right, ROCKIN!"
Nice return to form, very refreshing

"Much like Ac/Dc and Motorhead, Dirty Looks pretty much stick to their roots and deliver what the fans want and expect. This one is well-produced which makes it even more enjoyable. The more I listen to it, the more I am liking it. Maybe it is just taking a few spins for me to remember what real good sleazy metal is! I find myself cranking it up louder each time. I thought 'and then it got ugly' from Rhino Bucket was pretty good, and this one from Dirty Looks is at least as good as that, actually a bit better. So if you listen along similar lines, pick this one up.

Dirty Looks fans, you won't be disappointed.

"Superdeluxe was a good CD, it did not quite have the hungry, raw edge of their 1st one but then how many bands can recaputre the power and hunger when you first trying to make it. It was a CD that does keep you listening past the 1st song."
