Growing up around Pennsylvania's Amish, Diane longed for their kind of clarity and simplicity. These traditionalist roots are ever-present in her recordings and her general disinterest in "fancy stuff". Her fifth solo album is a collection of naked songs filled with movement and metamorphosis.
