Dez Dickerson is a very talented artist and performer that happens to be linked to my favorire performer Prince. It is clear to see the influences they each had on the other as you listen to the music. Dez is very talented and there is a lot of heart and soul in this record. This should be a must have for any true Prince fan.

DEZ influenced PRINCE on the bounce rock!

"PRINCE songs like "Sister","Sexuality","Delirious" and "Horny Toad" and anything else similar are sounds of DEZ. DEZ didn't write them but the music touched PRINCE,he never had that sound before the DIRTY MIND album. But he did use it when DEZ left to do The MODERNNAIRES for "Let's Go Crazy".



DEZ is no longer that wild man,Chinese-bandana wearing,axeman. He's still the axeman,but a born-again one. 13 songs,all of them with heartfelt lyrics to make you think like "Like A Merry Go Round" he talks about the ups and downs that life brings us. "Peacehopejoy" maybe the heaviest song on the CD while most of the disc is mellow but great guitar work.



At the end of the album,behind "Real To Me" he gives thanks to fans and JESUS CHRIST and asks you to come along. The CD does not bore,musically,lyrically and spiritually. DEZ would tell you,it's just "The Way I Feel". DEZ I feel ya!"
